
Fashion Buying Experience - Shoshanna Project

During my Strategies of Merchandising class, I constructed a buy for a womenswear company named Shoshanna for the Fall of 2023. I visited the Shoshanna showroom in New York City to see and take photos of the merchandise they were currently showing. After research trends, color, patterns, and previous best sellers that are bound to be seen in the Fall of 2023 I constructed this buy. Each store cluster had a different location and consumer we had to adhere to. Finally, I put together a purchase order and a classification analysis to conclude my buy.
Digital Marketing Research Experience - CFDA Research

I was assigned a project to research the digital marketing efforts done by a non-profit and I chose to research the digital marketing efforts used by the CFDA to promote their scholarship award winners and how those efforts have impacted the career trajectory of the winners. I interviewed CFDA scholarship award winner on their experience working with the CFDA and was able to gather significant primary research. Through my primary research and finding 10+ database sources to support my findings I was able to successfully create a well-structured research paper highlighting the CFDA’s scholarship winners and what they experienced through the non-profit.
Brand Marketing Experience - Brand Extension Project

Worked with my classmates to create a brand extension for a highly reputable publicly owned company named Columbia. After conducting observative research, my group and I found that loyal Columbia customers are constantly looking for clothes and accessories for their pets, specifically dogs. With that information, we created a brand extension of Columbia called “PUP-Lumbia” creating dog jackets, harnesses, bowls, and many other accessories for the Columbia customers. We created new products and strategically placed them in various retail locations. Most importantly we brainstormed promotional tactics to promote the line through events, social media, and in-store marketing.
